YESHIVA WEEK IN PANAMA

WINTER BREAK 2024

Welcome to Panama! A wonderful and safe family destination in tropical Central America. The Beit Chabad center is happy to welcome you and you may contact us with any questions you may have. Thank you for visiting and enjoy your vacation!

We worked intensively to make your vacation as best as it could be by putting together here on our website all the information you will need. Here, you can find info such as Shabbos meals, mikveh, kosher food, minyonim, hotels, tourguides…

Here are SPECIAL YESHIVA WEEK (shabbos VAERA, BO, BESHALACH) features info you don’t want to miss:

  1. Please, make your shabbos reservation ahead of time because it gets very busy and we have limited space. We would like to accomodate everyone.
  2. For your convenient we opened a whatsapp group for you to join. There, all jews vacationing in Panama during Yeshiva Week can talk, share ideas, tips, trips, accurate minyonim updates and much more… Join here WhatsApp Group Invite
  3. Due to the large amount of guests and in order to serve you best, Shabbos meals won’t be hosted at Chabad but at a larger and beautiful nearby hall at 7 min walk from Chabad.
    Exact location will be posted on whatsapp group and sent to you by email.
  4. For Shabbos meals, if you registered separately from your family/friends and you want to be seated together, please do as follow:
    Send an email to [email protected] (before Wednesday of that same Shabbos)
    subject: SHABBAT SEATING PLAN
    Content of email: You just need to write the name of the parasha and the reservation number s. For example: Shabbos Vaera, reservation 12345 together with reservation 67890.
  5. We added a special shacharit minyan every day at 8:30am, in addition to the regular minyan at 7:30 AM.  Starting on Tuesday January 16th, to wednesday January 31st.
  6. We highly recommend to reserve all your restaurants meals ahead of time.
